Light Catcher
Poetic optical device designed to transform polarised light into visible patterns. The viewer looks through and adjusts the instrument in order to catch a beam of polarised light from a reflective surface. The reflected light is transformed into a colourful kaleidoscopic pattern that is otherwise invisible to the naked eye. A solar cell powers a system of rotating lenses to modulate the patterns over time.
