VREEDOM
«VREEDOM» is a short theatrical piece in Virtual Reality. Its focus lies on space-based immersion guided through voices. Three users dive into the memory of ME, an awareness trip to realise their place in the panoptic structure they are imprisoned in. Through the possibility of social interaction, connection to the topics of big data and the all-seeing spectator’s gaze will become apparent.
«VREEDOM» was realised by a team of artists, architects and cognitive scientists. German-based Kollektiv Mosaik consists of Vivienne Mayer, architect and cognitive scientist, and Ilja Mirsky, dramaturg and also a cognitive scientist. For «VREEDOM» the collective collaborated with Swiss director and writer Corinne Soland as well as the Indian architect Aarti Dhingra, who specialised on the topic of gaze.
