Body exodus cosmos rave

«Body exodus cosmos rave» is a dance that invites you to merge with the cosmos, to take in its energy and to escape facial recognition systems. An exercise in disappearing from body and identity surveillance and control systems. A way to merge the body with alien space, to consider thoughts as matter and to put on the cosmos as an identity.

«Body exodus cosmos rave» is inspired by a powerful dream I had in January 2020. I was able to capture the energy of the cosmos in my body and this energy was allowing me to continue making art and to live. At the same time, I was thinking about ways to disappear from the body and identity’s surveillance and control systems. If we can be cyborgs to get freed from the binary of genders, perhaps we can disappear into the cosmos to avoid mass identification. A way to merge the body with alien space, to consider thoughts as matter and to take the cosmos as an identity.

The video is also a way of illustrating the fact that we are an integral part of the universe and that we are inseparable from it. It’s a proposition to dance until we disappear, to dance until we die.
